Nishi was founded in Melbourne by two professionals with a singular vision. The belief the EDC backpack could be better reimagined. Frustration turned into purpose. Nishi was created for the modern explorer. For those who navigate between meetings, flights, cafés, and moments of rest. We design for people who carry ideas, not just belongings.



Each piece is created with integrity, using sustainable materials and ethical manufacturing practices. But beyond functionality, Nishi seeks to inspire; to remind our community that every journey, no matter how ordinary, holds the potential for discovery.

The name NISHI, meaning west in Japanese, reflects this direction of intent. West has long symbolised journey, transition, and the path toward new horizons. It is a reminder that exploration is not just movement, but mindset.

Our designs are guided by the horizon. The place where light shifts and perspectives widen. It's that pull toward the unknown, the quiet courage to explore beyond what is known.
